Apple’s mobile devices (iPhone, iPad) with iOS has a fantastic feature called gliding cursor which allow users to move and place the cursor very precisely in a desired location. Thus, while working with Datalore’s Python, Markdown and SQL cells it would be great to have the possibility to use this function for moving the cursor around. Unfortunately, right now, if you work on iPad (or iPhone), you have three options to move cursor around: 1) tap screen with your finger (slow and inaccurate); 2) buy additional physical keyboard (decrease in mobility and additional costs); 3) install third-party app-based keyboards implementing left and right arrow keys (slow). So, it would be great, if Datalore could support a gliding cursor functionality in the close future, which would boost mobile productivity significantly.
