I am trying to display external images in md defined as <img src="somepath"> but I guess I need the notebook to be trusted to have this executed. Is there a way to set current notebook as trusted?

you don’t have to make the notebook trusted to include external images in markdown, please make sure that the srcs are not started with /:
If something still doesn’t work, please provide an example and we’ll figure it out
