Editing .py files on the go

Can you please add some kind of text editor to modify .py files on the go.
Currently we have to download the .py files in local machine , then remodify and then upload again, which is really painful.

there is no edit options for workspace files.

You are right. It is impossible to edit a file from a workspace page, but you can do it if open a notebook and open the workspace data from it.
