Connection problem when using Large machine and GPU Machine

I was using the GPU machine and consumed over 7 hours training a model.

The model was training for more than 5 hours, then left the computer for a while and when arrived there was a red notification with
“Connection failure. Changes aren’t saved on the server”

I have tried the same in Large machine, leaving the model training and the problem persists.

How can I, then, train models that take hours, not being able to stay in front of the screen for that amount of time, if the connection with the notebooks fail all the time?

Hi @goncalomperes,

If you want the machine not to shut down when the connection is lost for a couple of minutes, you can use Long Computation mode (Run -> Long Computation). In this mode the machine can only be shut down manually.
