I think it will be a great feature to add the location of all collaborators in page with their names, like Google Docs etc… Also Side chat will be very convenient to talk about the notebook and not inside markdown cells.

Regarding the features, collaborator’s caret is already displayed:
There are some known imperfections and ideas on how to improve it though, so please let us know if there is anything particularly annoying to you here.
However, we are not sure about the chat – it might overcomplicate the product, but still lose to the third party messengers.
